Missing In Action!

Surf's Up!

Dear All...

So sorry for my unexpected abscence but this has been my week so far ....

Moved House

Moved Office

Installed half a kitchen, bathroom, pantry, store room and laundry

Painted like a maniac

Spent 5 days trying to get internet and telephone up and running

Harassed plumbers, electricians and a zillion other trades to finish off so I could move in yesterday

Squeezed in a bit of work

Unpacked boxes 

Received countless furniture deliveries and set up a new house.

I'm exhausted but it's started to take shape.

A few more weeks and we should have something that resembles a home!

Still don't have a tap but I have a flushing loo so I won't complain.

Now I have internet I will be merrily posting away as if life was normal!

Fun Times!

So sorry to disappoint but today's post has to be short and sweet. 

With our renovation going great guns and only a few weeks before we officially move in there is little time to spare. This week we have had the electrician fit off, the carpet layer installing the carpet, the carpenters doing the finishes touches, the curtain guy fitting the blinds, the plumber installing loos plus hubby and I up ladders painting. It's been a total mad house but every day it looks better and better. In fact it's even started to resemble something that we could call 'home' rather than a demolition zone! I am over the moon about how fantastic it all looks. I can't wait to share some photos and a few 'reno' stories but we are still about a month away before all the furniture arrives and it's ready for a photo shoot. But I'm really thrilled with the results so far and the fun part of the decorating is yet to come!

Surround yourself with what you love ...

That's why I moved from the city to a small coastal town.

Firstly, I fell in love, so I moved down the coast to be with him.

 We got married and renovated a run down beach shack

Now I live in a home which I love, surrounded by a garden that I love.

I live in a beautiful part of the world 

with pristine beaches, National Parks and endless natural beauty.

Everyday I count myself as lucky.

Jump in the Mini Moke and head for the beach.
An early morning surf is the best way to start the day.
As the sun climbs higher in the sky,
escape from the soaring heat and
relax in the inviting cool shade of the back deck
 Grab a icy cold drink and chill out for the afternoon!
