Ocean Pleasures

The ocean brings me many pleasures ~

both great and small

Simple things like

collecting shells and driftwood on the beach

watching sea birds dart and glide

feeling the salt air and wind in my face and

falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves all

bring me great joy.

The Good Life

    

Being a Piscean I love anything to do with the water
Boating, sailing and swimming run in my blood.
There's nothing like cruising on a motor launch
 or the thrill of a speed board,
sun on your face and the wind in your hair!

Cruising

 

Thinking of a vacation in St Tropez, The Hamptons or Biarritz well this is the perfect little playful, seaside wardrobe. You can't go wrong with a mix of red, blue and white anywhere along the coast. Nautical stripes, pretty florals and cheeky shorts are always a winner. I love the flirty, ruffled dress and the Chanel look jacket with the gold buttons. Pack your bags and Cannes here we come!

Beach Bound

My favourite weekends are low key, relaxed days that
go something like this ~
long beach walks looking for shells
watching the fishing boats, surfers
and sailing boats bobbing on the water
laughing at the kids trying to chase seagulls
hanging out with friends on the deck with cheese and biscuits
and a glass of red!

Ocean Spray

 

Today we are heading off sailing round the bay.
Being a Piscean, I love anything to do with the water.
Sailing, boating, swimming, fishing and water skiing.
 So nothing makes me feel more exhilarated than
a day on the ocean, sails billowing, wind on your face
and the breeze blowing through your hair!

A Picnic on the Water

.... mmm this all looks about right!

With the promise of sunny weather on the the weekend

 and a birthday on Saturday ~

this looks like a pretty good idea to me.

Nothing would make me a happier than

 sunshine, the ocean and a picnic lunch!

Windward Bound

These pics are getting me in the mood for summer sailing.
Today there is a good stiff sea breeze, blue skies and sunshine -
a perfect day for a friendly yacht race around the bay.
I bought some new Helly Hansen sailing gear
so I am ready to go!
